New York City Wasters is currently a studio project from songwriter/artist James Leonard Hewitson, based in Hartlepool, England. Melodies, feeling and imperfectionism are the 3 key ingredients to NYCW.

‘Fill My Head With Sugar’ is a wintery lo-fi pop song about reclusive behaviour, binging too much Netflix, ignoring reality and ignoring family. It clocks in at just over 2min 30.

The song was recorded, mixed and mastered within 4 hours with Cosmic Cat on Wednesday 2nd December 2020.

The song was premiered on Amazing Radio on Friday 4th December 2020 and is set for full release on 31st December across Spotify, iTunes etc.

We are currently trying to pick up blog features in the run-up, any features are greatly appreciated. The output of this project can be as fast as it likes, so it would be great to build rapport for future!
