Music FatStalker  - "Good And Bad"

United Kingdom

Rock/Punk

Bio

We are FatStalker. We are a 3 piece band from Manchester with no real direction, ambition or standards. Our sound is a bit spikey, a bit woo and a bit wah. Loud we guess? We sit between genres a bit, that sounds like self indulgent nonsense I guess, but hey, what can you do. We liked Katy Perry before she was cool. We’re from Manchester and all the cliches apply to us, we are rainy, grey and will make you a cup of tea while stealing your E Bike.

Nate Mackinder - "The Hardest Part"

United States

Folk/Acoustic - Pop - Rock/Punk

Bio

BEEF Beef is a heartfelt collection of catchy songs written and performed by singer/songwriter Nate Mackinder from Hell, Michigan. The songs tell stories of the modern mid-life Midwesterner full of hope, disappointment and reflection. Produced and recorded by Jonah Brockman in Tecumseh MI, the retro Folk-Rock sound and spacey arrangements capture the storytelling of a weathered traveler that’s a bit jaded and broken, but still has some hope and drive to find happiness. The melodies dominate each song and stay concise and simplistic. Joined by brother and former bandmate Jeremy Mackinder(Whitey Morgan, Deadstring Brothers, South Normal) , Ben Vermeylen( Whitey Morgan, South Normal) and Jonah Brockman( Van Go Go)add the Americana, Alternative and Rock sound to acoustic driven songs and bring out a sound beyond just a classic Folk record. Beef is a dedication to Mackinder’s daughter born in July. Her mother, who is a vegetarian, was constantly craving meat throughout pregnancy and therefore earned the moniker “Beef” while still in the belly. Mackinder wanted to get an album out before she was born as something she will someday listen to and understand who her father was B.B, before Beef. The album evokes the imagery, feels and tones of classic artist like Springsteen, Cohen, Bowie, The Replacements and of course, like all the records Mackinder does, The Beatles. Mackinder plans on touring Spring 2025 including dates in Europe.

Don Carnevale - "Ain't Nobody Paying Attention"

United States

Folk/Acoustic - Metal - Pop

Bio

Don Carnevale is a songwriter and producer from Arcadia, California. The 2008 release of "Not Coming Back" kicked off Don's solo project and he's continued writing and producing ever since out of a love for his craft. He writes songs that are outside the bounds of our current "genre specific" environment. Compositions range from heavy rock to pop rock, country, jazz, adult contemporary, and a lot of stuff in between. He writes and produces all of his own material, using poignant commentary, sad ballads, and gentle love songs to grab at the hearts of his listeners and pull them into a story. Don Carnevale's artistic process, blends equal parts passion and obsession. Each song is a narrative of experience and emotion in both the lyrics, as well as the songwriting process of writing, arranging, editing, and mixing. He often talks about being obsessed with whatever song he is currently working on, unable to stop thinking about it until it's finally finished. His music continues to evolve and grow with him as a daily practice, showing how, for him, music is a labor of love.

Einar Askelsson  - "The Lonely Road"

Iceland

Classical/Instrumental - Electronic - Folk/Acoustic

Bio

Hello my friends. My music carrer started unexpectly few years ago. It's a long story why but I've got sick with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) with anxiety and panic attacks as my main symptoms. Also in Burn out. I had to find something to fight against the anxiety when I woke uo. I just grabbed my guitar and just jammed the few chords I knew. To play a guitar was a powerful self helping tool for me. It worked. I've always been creative so I started to try to write songs. From then I got hooked on creating music and have since then be learnig by doing. Today I know the basics i music theory and yes learned more chords. At first I knew few guitar chords. At first I wrote instrumental songs by experimenting. Love that. When I had the courage I wrote songs inspired from my own poems. And started to publish my music. I found this great website where I could write and/or arrange my songs. Also got access to more instruments. Recording vocals is still a problem because of primitive tools. I use my cheap headphone. I've got vocalists to sing on a few tracks and those tracks are my best. I also got in touch with a guy who mixes my songs. That was a breakthrough cause he also corrected my pitch if necessary (manually not autotune). So whatever you think about my vocals they are always in tune. My purpose of sharing songs is (beyond my own pleasure) to introduce me as a musician and hopefully get heard. Also to get other musicians interested in recording my songs. I´ve gained a good experience in both writing songs, lyrics and arrangement. When I use my vocals I regard those tracks as demos. I hope somebody would be interested to sing them. I love to write music and for me the best way to express any kind of emotions I´m going through in my life. And that's a lot. Like I said I wrote poems throughout my revovery journey and the are like photographs of the and place when I wrote them. A way to heal. And with hard work I'm feeling good today. So I'm ready to try at least to make a living of my music and to make a carrer out of it. That's my dream. Hope you enjoy my music. Please be in touch. Thank you sincerily. Einar Askelsson.

Midnight Zephyr - "This Is Where We End"

Australia

Pop - Rock/Punk

Bio

Biography Emerging from the nocturnal pulse of Sydney, Midnight Zephyr is a captivating alternative rock band that has been painting the local music scene with their pop sensibilities and evocative lyrics since their inception in 2020. The quartet, consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist John McCarthy, bassist/vocalist Nick Seroukas, lead guitarist Aaron Sedlak, and drummer Leroy Heta, came together with a shared desire to create a sonic experience that transports listeners to unseen realms. In the dimly lit venues and hidden gems of the local circuit, Midnight Zephyr quickly garnered attention for their mesmerizing live performances, seamlessly blending raw emotive energy with the fun and passion of being alive. Influenced by the likes of Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as pop acts such as Dua Lipa and DNCE, the band carved a niche for themselves with a sound that oscillates between loud choruses and softer melodic verses that keep the audience at bated breath. In 2021, Midnight Zephyr released their debut single "Walls" a hard rock anthem that transcended the listener to fight back against the monotony of a "normal" life. During this time, they played at venues such as the Burdekin Hotel, opening for emo rock heartbreakers Clay J Gladstone. They also supported grunge veterans Halfwait and headlined their own shows at Huxleys and the Taren Point Hotel, where they were received with great success. After the release of the single, the band went on hiatus due to personal matters. In 2023, Midnight Zephyr reconvened and rediscovered the magic that brought them together. They will be releasing their next single "Tonight" in February 2024 an infectious track that fuses disco pop and groovy rhythms. Their next release"One Step (At A Time)", is a pop punk song that utilises catchy song along lyrics and acts as a bridge between the previous two singles. The EP will be released in 2024 As the band continues to navigate the moonlit pathways of the local scene, Midnight Zephyr remains committed to their artistic vision and the exploration of the uncharted realms within their music. Whether performing in intimate venues or crafting immersive studio experiences, Midnight Zephyr invites listeners to join them on a sonic journey where the boundaries between reality and dreams blur, and the midnight zephyr carries whispers of untold stories through the city's twilight.

Asleep on the Couch - "Cry Me a River"

United States

Folk/Acoustic - Pop - Rock/Punk

Bio

One of our earliest musical memories as Asleep on the Couch dates back to a small gig at the Red Barn in Peoria. At that time, we were still figuring out our sound, and the lineup was far from stable. The place was dimly lit, with a makeshift stage set up in a corner. We started our set with “Bowl of Cherries,” which was still a work in progress. The audience, mostly friends and local supporters, gave us encouraging nods and cheers. As the song progressed, we felt the magic of our music beginning to take shape. The raw energy was palpable, and even though there were a few stumbles, we knew we were onto something special. The highlight of the evening was when we played “I’m Over It” for the first time. The crowd’s reaction was overwhelming; they connected with the raw emotion and catchy chorus. It was a turning point for us, realizing the potential impact of our music. This gig at the Red Barn laid the foundation for our future performances at more prominent venues like the Peoria Riverfront and the Civic Center, solidifying our identity as Asleep on the Couch.
